When to use this
- Decide where jobs should be published
- Control public visibility of job postings
- Increase or limit candidate reach
What this page controls
You can enable or disable publishing options using toggles.
Each option controls a different level of visibility.
Publishing options
Publish on career page (required)
- Jobs are automatically visible on your company's career page
- This is the default and mandatory publishing channel
- Without this, job posting does not exist in the system view
Share on Mercury Jobs
- Jobs may be visible outside your organization
- Increases reach to external candidates
Use this when you want broader exposure beyond your own career page.
Allow Google Jobs visibility
Allows jobs to appear in Google search results
- Jobs may be indexed and shown publicly
- Increases visibility through search
Use this when you want candidates to discover jobs through Google.
When to be careful about
- Enabling external sharing makes jobs publicly visible
- Sensitive or internal roles should not be shared externally
- Disabling visibility reduces candidate reach
Every toggle is trade-off between visibility and control.
