When to use this

Use this when you need to:
  • Decide where jobs should be published
  • Control public visibility of job postings
  • Increase or limit candidate reach

What this page controls

You can enable or disable publishing options using toggles.

Each option controls a different level of visibility.

Publishing options

Publish on career page (required)

This is always turned on and cannot be disabled.
  • Jobs are automatically visible on your company's career page
  • This is the default and mandatory publishing channel
  • Without this, job posting does not exist in the system view

Shows jobs on Mercury's public job market.
  • Jobs may be visible outside your organization
  • Increases reach to external candidates

Use this when you want broader exposure beyond your own career page.

    Allow Google Jobs visibility

Allows jobs to appear in Google search results

    • Jobs may be indexed and shown publicly
    • Increases visibility through search

Use this when you want candidates to discover jobs through Google.

      When to be careful about

      • Enabling external sharing makes jobs publicly visible
      • Sensitive or internal roles should not be shared externally
      • Disabling visibility reduces candidate reach

Every toggle is trade-off between visibility and control.
