Create and schedule a call or interview with a candidate.

When to use this
- You want to schedule an interview for a candidate
- You want to arrange a call with a candidate
- You need to assign attendees and timing for hiring discussions
Use this only for planned candidate interactions.
Start scheduling an event
- Click Schedule Event from Events page
You will be guided through a step-by-step flow.

Step 1: Select context
- Job
- Candidate
These must belong to the same hiring pipeline.
Then click Next
You cannot schedule an event without selecting both job and candidate.

Step 2: Choose event type
- Call
- Interview
This decides the template and format of the event.

Step 3: Set date and time
- Start date and end date
- Start time and end time
- Timezone
Use correct timing to avoid overlaps or missed interviews.

Step 4: Add attendees
- Recruiters
- Interviewers
- HR members
Important:
Missing attendees may result in incomplete interview feedback or communication gaps.
Use this to ensure everyone involved is included.

Step 5: Set location
Choose one option.
Virtual
- Add meeting link (required)
Other
- Add location (required)
- Add meeting link (optional)
Choose the correct location type based on the meeting format.


Step 6: Event details
Call
- Use default call template
- Use default interview template
Use templates to ensure consistent communication across interviews and calls.
Step 7: Attach files (optional)
- Upload relevant files (max 5 MB)
Use this for resumes, notes, or interview materials.
Step 8: Schedule event
- Click Schedule Event
The event is created and shared with attendees.

What happens after scheduling
- Event appears in My Events
- Attendees can view details
- Event can be edited only by creator
- Event can be canceled only by creator
What to be careful about
- Wrong job or candidate selection cannot be easily fixed later
- Incorrect time or timezone leads to missed interviews
- Missing attendees causes communication gaps
Always review job, candidate, and timing before scheduling.
