When to use this
- Create a new questionnaire template
- Set a default template
- Duplicate an existing template
- Delete unused template
Do not use this to edit individual questions.
Open Questionnaire Templates
- Go to Recruitment
- Click Questionnaire Template
All templates are listed in the left panel.
Create a new template
Steps
- Click + New Template
- Enter Questionnaire Name
- (Optional) Import questions from another template
- Click Save
A new template is created and added to the list.
Manage existing templates
You will see the following options:
- Set as Default
- Duplicate
- Delete (only for custom templates)
Set as default
Use this to make a template the standard for all jobs.
What happens
This template is automatically applied in new job setups
Be careful
Changing the default affects all future hiring workflows
Duplicate template
Use this to copy an existing template.
What happens
- Anew template is created
- All questions are copied
- You can rename and modify it
Use this when you need a similar structure with small chnages.
Delete template
Use this to remove a custom template.
Important
- Default template cannot be deleted
- Deleted templates cannot be recovered
- Do not delete templates currently in use
Rename template
Use this edit icon to update the template name.
Keep names clear and specific to their purpose.
What to be careful about
- Too man templates create confusion
- Similar templates with small differences cause inconsistency
- Setting the wrong default affects all new jobs
- Deleting active templates can break workflows
Keep templates limited and purposeful.
